Sales & Payment Consultant – Duty Free

About the role

ATU Duty Free is seeking enthusiastic Sales & Payment Consultants to join its store operations team at Salalah International Airport. You will work in a vibrant, multicultural environment, assisting travelers with a wide range of products from cosmetics to souvenirs while delivering the company’s signature customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to all customers and address their needs promptly.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product ranges, promotions, and special offers.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for your department.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and follow inventory control procedures.
• Keep the store clean, organized and aligned with brand standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure consistent service quality.
• Suggest merchandising and marketing ideas to boost sales.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail, sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Basic proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of a Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
