Science Teacher (Chemistry) – Muscat, Oman – Start Aug 2026

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Science Teacher with a Chemistry specialism to join its international faculty in Muscat starting August 2026. You will deliver Chemistry across GCSE, A Level and/or IBDP programmes within a vibrant, not‑for‑profit IB World school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Chemistry lessons for GCSE, A Level and/or IBDP cohorts.
• Prepare laboratory sessions, ensure safety protocols and manage equipment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent communication and school events.
• Engage in continuous professional development and share best practices with colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree closely related to Chemistry or Science education.
• Qualified teacher status (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching GCSE, A Level and/or IBDP curricula.
• Under 60 years of age and able to pass Safer Recruitment checks.
