Senior Air Conditioning Technician (Retail)

About the role

The Senior Air Conditioning Technician will provide service, repair, testing and commissioning for a wide range of DX air‑conditioning units across Al‑Futtaim Retail locations in Oman. You will ensure equipment performance meets standards and support customers through timely maintenance and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Service and repair Window, Split, Cassette, Ducted and VRF DX air‑conditioning units.
• Test and commission all types of DX air conditioners, verify performance and resolve issues.
• Perform Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for DX systems.
• Prepare detailed service reports and record all relevant parameters.
• Respond to service calls and provide on‑site support.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑year vocational qualification in Air‑Conditioning and Cooling.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience as an A/C technician.
• Proven ability to detect damages, malfunctions and to troubleshoot complex HVAC systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Service and repair of DX air‑conditioning systems (Window, Split, Cassette, Ducted, VRF).
• Testing and commissioning of DX units.
• Troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
• Performing AMC maintenance tasks.
• Preparing accurate service reports.
