Senior Business Analyst (Oman)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead analysis and requirements activities for large‑scale government and national projects in Oman. The role will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet strategic objectives and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and requirements gathering across enterprise software projects.
• Conduct workshops, interviews and meetings with stakeholders and business users.
• Document business, functional and non‑functional requirements and produce BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, workflows and process diagrams.
• Create UML and BPMN models, mockups, wireframes and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with development, QA, project management and architecture teams.
• Manage the requirements lifecycle – prioritisation, traceability, validation and change management.
• Support solution validation, SIT, UAT and business acceptance testing.
• Participate in project planning, stakeholder management and reporting.
• Utilise AI productivity tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to improve documentation and analysis efficiency.
• Prepare executive‑level reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Support governance, compliance and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis and enterprise software projects.
• CBAP or PMI‑PBA certification (mandatory); PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven experience on large‑scale government or national‑level projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Preferred: experience with CMMI, Application Security, enterprise architecture, Agile/Scrum, digital transformation and enterprise workflow/case management systems.
