Senior Energy Project Manager – Oman

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Energy Project Manager to lead high‑voltage (EHV) substation and OHTL projects in Oman. The role involves end‑to‑end responsibility for planning, execution, budgeting, and delivery while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Plan and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Lead all phases of substation construction and commissioning, supervising engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Monitor progress with Primavera or MS Project and provide regular status reports.
• Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation plans, and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project budgets, control expenditures, track material costs, subcontractor performance, and variation orders.
• Prepare invoices and payment applications, oversee testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Conduct post‑project evaluation and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in high‑voltage energy projects (HV substation, OHTL).
• Proven track record managing full project lifecycles.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving abilities.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
