Senior Macroeconomic Reform Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium to prepare the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project. The Senior Non‑Key Expert will provide high‑quality technical assistance on macro‑economic and fiscal analysis, structural reforms and economic resilience to strengthen EU‑Egypt partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct macro‑economic, fiscal and structural reform analyses and produce evidence‑based policy recommendations.
• Prepare economic assessments, background papers and policy briefs for Egyptian partner entities.
• Support the design and implementation of reforms aimed at improving competitiveness and resilience.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, macroeconomics, public finance, development economics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in macro‑economic, fiscal or structural reform analysis.
• Proven experience preparing economic assessments and policy analyses.
• Strong understanding of economic resilience, competitiveness and reform programmes.
• Fluent English (C1); Arabic highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Egypt’s economic and reform context is a plus.
