Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

EDECS is looking for a Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to lead complex MEP engineering designs and mentor junior engineers. You will work closely with the Team Leader to ensure high‑quality, accurate, and compliant deliverables across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced MEP system design, including calculations, load analysis, and equipment selection.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications for construction and installation.
• Ensure all designs meet project specifications, local and international codes, and safety regulations.
• Prepare, review, and validate technical submittals, material data sheets, and vendor proposals.
• Generate technical reports, engineering summaries, and project progress updates.
• Coordinate MEP design activities with structural, architectural, and other engineering disciplines to resolve conflicts.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
