Senior Officer – Broker Relations (General & Medical Insurance)

About the role

Orient Insurance PJSC is seeking a Senior Officer to lead and expand its broker network across General and Medical insurance lines in Oman. You will act as the primary liaison between brokers, underwriting, finance and internal teams, driving portfolio growth and ensuring compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the broker portfolio for both General and Medical insurance.
• Conduct regular strategic meetings with allocated brokers to develop business.
• Manage renewals and coordinate closely with brokers and the underwriting team.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and share insights with management.
• Deliver portal presentations and product training to brokers.
• Monitor, analyse and improve broker performance on an ongoing basis.
• Support the Finance Department with credit‑control related issues.
• Build a strong pipeline of corporate accounts each quarter.
• Update and maintain all KYC documentation for panel brokers.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in broker relations within the insurance sector.
• Insurance certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and people‑management abilities.
