Senior Project Engineer - Brownfield EPCM

About the role

Worley, a global energy, chemicals and resources company, is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage its EPCM team on a portfolio of Brownfield projects. The role provides strong HSSE leadership, coordinates the team and ensures customer objectives are met across all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the EPCM team to deliver Brownfield EPCM projects successfully.
• Ensure clear alignment and communication of customer objectives across all project stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach the Contract Leadership Team and provide focused leadership to set a vision for project success.
• Support the Project Manager in executing and delivering project work.
• Deliver projects in line with Technical Integrity, HSSE, Quality, Cost, Schedule and Performance objectives, within approved scope, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and monitor project performance, identifying risks, issues and improvement opportunities.
• Support stakeholder engagement, ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and organisational requirements, and promote continuous improvement and lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 10 years in Brownfield Oil & Gas project delivery within Project Management, Engineering or Design roles.
• Minimum 10 years working with multidisciplinary project delivery teams in complex environments.
• Experience managing project portfolios, coordinating stakeholders and managing resources in multicultural settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSSE leadership in Brownfield projects.

Required skills

• Engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project execution experience is advantageous; EPCM project management experience required.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once.
• Understanding of project management principles, project controls and risk management.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
