Senior Quantity Surveyor – Post-Contract (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

Burjline Builders is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major mixed‑use infrastructure development in Oman. This six‑month contract (extendable) focuses on post‑contract commercial management, from execution through to project close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post‑contract quantity surveying and commercial management activities.
• Administer contracts in line with FIDIC Red Book 2017 or similar forms.
• Prepare, review and certify interim valuations and payment applications.
• Manage measurement, re‑measurement, variations, claims and contractual entitlements.
• Conduct cost reporting, forecasting and commercial risk assessments.
• Negotiate and prepare final accounts and support dispute avoidance.
• Maintain commercial records, cost reports and contractual documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 15+ years of post‑contract quantity surveying and commercial management experience.
• Proven track record on large‑scale infrastructure or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC Red Book 2017 and re‑measurement contracts.
• Professional membership such as MRICS is advantageous.
