Senior Sales Manager – Oman

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Senior Sales Manager to lead new‑business initiatives, build strategic client relationships and drive sustainable revenue growth for Howden Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, cross‑sell opportunities and meet annual new‑business targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic clients and insurance carriers to achieve growth objectives.
• Generate leads through networking, industry events and digital outreach to keep the sales pipeline healthy.
• Achieve personal targets set by the Reporting Manager and deliver consistent growth across all portfolios.
• Strategically plan and engage key stakeholders, coordinating across Howden Oman and the MEA region.
• Build and nurture relationships with large, complex clients, understanding their business and culture.
• Lead the development of business presentations and manage client meetings for renewals and new business.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitors and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share information, mitigate risks and promote cross‑selling activities.
• Maintain sales MIS, update data in Salesforce and other systems, and provide timely sales reports ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of business development or sales experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong understanding of insurance broking, client servicing and Oman market regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess new business opportunities and solve problems.
• Confident negotiator capable of closing deals independently.
