Site Supervisor – Yard & Infrastructure (Port)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead yard development and supporting infrastructure works at a major port project in Oman. The role involves full‑time on‑site presence, coordinating earthworks, utilities, and internal logistics while ensuring compliance with design specifications and contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction of land‑based structures such as roads, trestles, pavements, and utilities.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship, including concrete mixes and pavement compaction.
• Check lines, levels, and the installation of piped and cable services.
• Review contractor inspection requests and issue approvals or non‑compliance reports.
• Ensure defects are remedied during the liability period.
• Maintain daily on‑site coordination with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Registered civil engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of cumulative civil engineering experience, including at least 6 years in yard and port infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience supervising at least two similar construction projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
