Sourcing & Proposal Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Sourcing & Proposal Specialist to join IDEAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LLC, a leader in industrial machinery manufacturing. In this global role you will manage the procurement of materials and components, and prepare competitive proposals that support our cutting‑edge energy technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price and delivery performance.
• Establish, maintain and negotiate relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging sources.
• Ensure timely procurement of products to meet client requirements.
• Maintain a database of suppliers and products.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and project scope.
• Prepare detailed, cost‑effective proposals including estimates, timelines and technical specifications.
• Review and revise proposals based on client and internal feedback.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement and project management to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates and address concerns.
• Document sourcing activities, proposals and supplier interactions.
• Generate regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings and proposal success.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or proposal preparation, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, engineering or MEP sectors.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with high attention to detail.
