Switchgear Wireman / Panel Wiring Technician

About the role

We are a leading electrical switchgear and panel manufacturing company in Oman seeking an experienced Switchgear Wireman / Panel Wiring Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise wiring, assembly, and testing of LV/MV control panels, distribution boards and MCC panels while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of LV/MV electrical control panels, MCC panels and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Install, connect and terminate components, including cable dressing, ferruling, labeling and point‑to‑point wiring.
• Inspect wiring for accuracy, identify and correct errors or faults.
• Use hand tools, testing equipment and wiring accessories safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment and follow HSE requirements.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in panel wiring and assembly.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a technical team.
• Strong attention to detail and good electrical safety awareness.
