Tax Compliance Specialist

About the role

The House of AMOUAGE is seeking a Tax Compliance Specialist to lead its global tax compliance framework. Working closely with Finance and external advisors, you will ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and robust tax governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review direct and indirect tax filings, coordinating with local advisors for timely submission.
• Maintain a comprehensive tax compliance calendar covering filing deadlines, payments, and certificate renewals.
• Lead the rollout of e‑invoicing obligations across all jurisdictions.
• Implement and operate the group’s tax control framework, documenting controls and driving remediation of gaps.
• Keep tax documentation (SOPs, master file, local files, benchmark studies) up to date and compliant.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities, handling information requests and audit queries.
• Monitor tax law developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Support periodic tax forecasts and act as the primary contact for tax‑related business queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of tax advisory or compliance experience in a Big 4, mid‑tier firm, or multinational in‑house tax function.
• Solid understanding of CIT, TP, VAT, customs, and WHT.
• Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
