Team Lead Tax & Compliance Europe

About the role

Vanderlande is seeking a Finance Team Lead for Tax & Compliance Europe to head the regional tax team and ensure a robust, compliant tax framework across its European operations. You will work closely with Group Tax, Finance, Legal, Treasury and local business units to manage tax risks and support the business with practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Europe Tax & Compliance team.
• Oversee timely and accurate execution of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and related reporting across Europe.
• Coordinate transfer‑pricing compliance and documentation.
• Act as primary contact for tax authorities, auditors and external advisors.
• Identify, escalate and mitigate tax risks, translating legislative changes into actionable guidance.
• Drive standardisation, process improvement and documentation of tax controls.
• Support finance transformation projects and provide tax advice to business initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax compliance or related finance function in an international environment.
• Proven experience leading or coaching a team.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
