Technical Lead – Enterprise Payment Hub (Banking Payments)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead to drive the implementation of an Enterprise Payment Hub for a leading Omani bank. The role involves designing, integrating and delivering secure, high‑performance payment solutions that support domestic and international transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of the Enterprise Payment Hub solution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, vendors and system integrators to deliver end‑to‑end integration.
• Integrate core banking systems, middleware (ESB), APIs, SWIFT and external payment networks.
• Implement payment interfaces for RTGS, ACH, instant and cross‑border payments.
• Review technical designs, interface specifications and solution architecture.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, regulatory and compliance standards.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in banking technology.
• Hands‑on experience implementing Enterprise Payment Hub or payment switch solutions.
• Strong background in payment systems integration within banking environments.
• Experience with SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, instant payments or ISO 20022 initiatives.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead or senior technical consultant.
• Proven ability to work with banking vendors and system integrators.
