Technology Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Technology Internal Auditor to independently conduct audits of our telecom and IT network infrastructure in line with the annual internal audit plan. The role will assess network architecture, security controls and perform vulnerability and penetration testing to identify risks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits of LAN, WAN, firewalls, switches, routers and related network components.
• Lead assessments of network architecture, configuration, access controls and security measures.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, documenting findings in audit reports.
• Coordinate with IT divisions, department heads and management to communicate audit observations and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Prepare and review internal audit reports for accuracy, clarity and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct compliance monitoring audits to ensure operations comply with Omani legal and regulatory requirements.
• Track corrective action requests and ensure timely resolution of identified non‑conformities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably information technology.
• Minimum three years of experience in telecom or IT network auditing, vulnerability assessment or penetration testing.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of an audit team.
• Strong understanding of audit standards and risk management principles.
