Tendering & Quantity Survey Specialist

About the role

The Tendering & Quantity Survey Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Muscat. You will lead the preparation, review and management of tender documents, cost estimates and bills of quantities for real‑estate development projects, ensuring accurate quantity calculations throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage tender documentation, cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Evaluate contractor and consultant proposals, analyse project costs and support negotiation processes.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants and external partners to align procurement activities with project timelines.
• Monitor cost variations, conduct site measurements and validate quantities and valuations.
• Produce periodic cost reports, assist in budget planning and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in tendering, planning and quantity surveying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Technical expertise in topographic and land surveying to support accurate quantity take‑offs.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, local regulations and industry standards in Oman or the GCC.
• Professional certifications in quantity surveying or procurement are an advantage.
