Testing & Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Testing & Commissioning Engineer to lead the planning and execution of test procedures for electrical power systems. The role involves close collaboration with construction teams to verify installations and ensure that all equipment meets functional and performance specifications before handover to the client.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and schedule detailed test procedures for LVAC, LVDC and GIS installations.
• Coordinate with construction supervisors and technicians to conduct site inspections and verify equipment installation.
• Perform functional, performance and scheme tests, including auxiliary and backup relay testing.
• Document test results, report abnormalities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare cable schedules and manage remote‑end modification works.
• Support the handover process by delivering complete test reports and certification to the client.

Required profile

• Proven experience in testing and commissioning of electrical power systems.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work on site, coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation.
