Application Engineer

About the role

The Application Engineer will support the company's artificial lift engineers and production technologists by delivering technical solutions for ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) systems. The role involves designing, optimizing, and monitoring ESP operations to ensure reliable performance within the recommended operating envelope.

Key responsibilities

• Support artificial lift engineers and production technologists with technical expertise.
• Prepare design data, proposals, and align final designs with the application engineering lead.
• Optimize ESP operations and monitor activities within the operating envelope.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage ESP work, systems, and equipment.
• Ensure all programs are in place before execution and evaluate post‑job performance.
• Review and analyse downhole data and monitoring reports to identify issues and define corrective actions.
• Provide ongoing technical support to guarantee successful design implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (petroleum, electrical, or mechanical) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in ESP equipment application engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with ESP design, DIFA analysis, well interventions, workovers, and well/reservoir management.
• Relevant training on ESP equipment and related technologies.
