Machine Operator

About the role

As a member of the production team, the Machine Operator ensures smooth operation of manufacturing equipment to meet daily production targets while maintaining product quality and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily meetings with the supervisor to receive task allocations.
• Inspect machines each shift to verify raw‑material specifications and machine settings.
• Check production mandates to confirm orders match required specifications.
• Update any machine faults in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) promptly.
• Communicate with supervisors when maintenance or technical support is needed.
• Operate copper taping machines according to standardized procedures.
• Produce output that aligns with daily orders and quality standards.

Required profile

• Secondary education (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience operating copper taping machines in a production environment.
• Basic understanding of cable manufacturing processes is preferred.

Required skills

• Operation of copper taping machines.
• Use of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) for fault reporting.
• Ability to follow standardized operating procedures.
