Electrical Technician Trainee

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician Trainee to join our plant in Ibri, Oman. The role focuses on maintaining, installing, overhauling and modifying electrical machinery and equipment to ensure effective functionality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily electrical maintenance and preventative tasks according to schedule and ACWA NOMAC procedures.
• Monitor equipment condition, report non‑conformances and support corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuit, wiring, transformer, motor, relay, switch and control device faults.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics to carry out maintenance work.
• Align, adjust and calibrate equipment to specifications and maintain accurate repair records.
• Check spare‑part inventory levels and support inventory control.
• Update maintenance logbooks with detailed work records, findings and equipment conditions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and comply with HSE, quality and company policies.

Required profile

• Technical Certificate or Associate’s Diploma in Electrical Maintenance.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial plant.
• Ability to follow standard maintenance procedures, HSE guidelines and quality standards.
