First Officer

About the role

The First Officer supports the Captain in operating the aircraft safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. This position is critical for maintaining on‑time performance and meeting the airline’s operational KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all pre‑flight planning, preparation, and briefings.
• Operate the aircraft as Pilot Flying (PF) or Pilot Monitoring (PM) as assigned.
• Ensure full compliance with the Operations Manual, SOPs, checklists, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with ATC, cabin crew, dispatch, and ground teams.
• Apply Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles to promote a safe operating environment.
• Execute normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures according to SOPs.
• Support on‑time performance and contribute to punctuality, fuel efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
• Complete post‑flight documentation and operational reporting.
• Uphold company standards for safety, professionalism, and customer experience.
• Maintain personal qualifications, training currency, and perform any other related tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) and ATPL theoretical knowledge issued by a competent authority.
• Appropriate type rating and successful completion of the applicable Type Rating Conversion Course.
• Age less than 50 years.
• Valid Class 1 Medical certificate.
• Minimum flight experience: 1,500 total hours on multi‑pilot certified aircraft with 300 hours on type (for foreign CPL/IR) or 500 total hours with 300 on type (for Omani CPL/IR).
• Human Factors training completed.
• Security clearance approval.
