Senior Operations Manager – Marine Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead marine operations across all Omani ports, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant vessel handling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end vessel and marine operations at every port in Oman.
• Lead the operations team, plan manpower and monitor performance.
• Coordinate port calls, berthing, cargo operations, turnaround and documentation.
• Liaise with port authorities, terminal operators, vessel owners, agents and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with port regulations, maritime laws, company policies and safety standards.
• Monitor operational costs, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare operational reports, KPIs and management updates.
• Develop and continuously improve operational procedures and marine best practices.
• Represent the company in meetings with maritime and port stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master Mariner / Master (FG) qualification (highly preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of shore‑based marine or vessel operations experience, preferably in a senior management role.
• Proven track record managing operations across multiple ports.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to handle emergencies, escalations and multi‑site coordination.
