Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee all logistics activities for an oil & gas drilling campaign, ensuring that supplies, equipment, and personnel move efficiently and safely across the supply base, warehouse, vessel, and rig sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall logistics operations throughout the drilling campaign, including supply base, warehouse, vessel, and rig support.
• Coordinate vessel movements, rig mobilisation/demobilisation, and material transportation to meet schedule requirements.
• Oversee drilling and testing material handling: receiving, dispatch, inventory control, stock verification, and tracking.
• Handle freight forwarding, customs clearance, import/export activities, and logistics documentation in line with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE standards for all equipment, materials, and transportation.
• Coordinate helicopter crew changes, contractor activities, and logistics support services.
• Monitor material availability, supply‑chain progress, and cost‑effective drilling operations.
• Prepare logistics reports, inventory records, and required documentation, including RO/SCC and invoice processing.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and authorities to guarantee smooth logistics execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas experience, with at least 5 years in drilling material coordination or logistics supervision.
• Proven experience supporting at least one drilling project or well campaign.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with local stakeholders.
