Multi Skilled Technician

About the role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a qualified Multi Skilled Technician to join the Engineering department. You will ensure the hotel's operational integrity by performing proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of a wide range of electromechanical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment such as laundry, kitchen, HVAC, AHUs, motors, fans, water and sewage treatment plants, hotel water pumps, chilled water pumps, electrical panels and emergency generators.
• Maintain transformers and low‑tension electrical panels.
• Install audio/video, computer and MTAV cabling systems.
• Perform all types of repairs and extensions across hotel premises and other properties.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt.
• Keep uniform, plant rooms, workshop and public areas clean and tidy.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with complex electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
