Planning Engineer – Water Pipeline Project (12+ yrs)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join a high‑profile water pipeline construction project in Sur, Oman. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and controlling the delivery of the Nama Water Pipeline, ensuring the project stays on track and meets quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress against the baseline, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Perform resource planning, delay analysis, and recovery planning to keep the project on schedule.
• Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for senior management.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align planning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in construction, specifically water pipeline, water distribution, or water transmission projects.
• Valid Primavera P6 certification.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale infrastructure schedules and project controls.
