Site Inspector – Pipeline (Omani Citizen Only)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Site Inspector to oversee pipeline construction activities across Oman. The role involves ensuring that all works – from excavation to reinstatement – meet the required standards and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect pipeline construction activities including excavation, trenching, pipe laying, bedding, backfilling and reinstatement.
• Monitor installation of water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, utility, and oil & gas pipelines.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Check pipe alignment, levels, welding, jointing, coating and protection works.
• Witness hydrostatic, pressure, leak testing and commissioning activities.
• Review inspection requests (IRs), RFIs and quality documentation.
• Identify non‑conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare daily inspection and progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility authorities and project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Omani citizen.
• Proven experience in pipeline inspection or related construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications and QA/QC processes.
• Ability to produce clear inspection reports and communicate findings.
