Lounge Director

About the role

TRANSOM is seeking a Lounge Director to lead airport lounge operations across Oman. You will be responsible for ensuring premium service standards, operational discipline, and commercial performance in all international lounges.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day lounge activities, including guest reception, food & beverage service, housekeeping, and facility readiness.
• Implement and enforce SOPs, service and grooming standards, and coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, security, and ground handling teams.
• Manage staffing, rosters, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency to meet peak‑period and VIP demands.
• Ensure full compliance with aviation security, health & safety, and food safety (HACCP or equivalent) requirements.
• Lead safety‑first culture, conduct audits, hygiene checks, and incident investigations.
• Deliver a premium guest experience, handle feedback and complaints, and maintain relationships with airlines and corporate clients.
• Develop and manage operating and CAPEX budgets, set financial targets, monitor KPIs, and identify commercial opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in airport lounge or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of aviation security, health & safety, and food safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets, track KPIs, and drive revenue growth.

Required skills

• HACCP (or equivalent) food safety knowledge.
