DT Laying Up Operator

About the role

We are looking for a DT Laying Up Operator to join our cable manufacturing team. The role involves producing cables according to specifications, operating the lay‑up machine at rated speeds, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce cables following the Quality Compliance Plan (QCP) and maintain rated production speeds.
• Set up and operate the lay‑up machine according to operating instructions and procedures.
• Verify cable orders against the mandate to ensure specifications match the machine settings.
• Enter and update production data in the MES system.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Secondary school education with vocational training.
• 3–5 years of experience operating a lay‑up machine in a production environment.

Required skills

• Lay‑up machine operation.
• MES system data entry.
• Basic understanding of production processes and in‑process quality testing.
