Lead / Senior Service Project Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Lead / Senior Service Project Engineer to drive the execution of DCS, ESD and FGS projects worldwide. You will be responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and high‑quality automation solutions while supporting the company’s sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead service and project execution for Yokogawa Centum VP and ProSafe‑RS systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Implement, commission, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components on site.
• Prepare and review Safety Validation Plans, Functional Design Specifications, and other engineering documentation.
• Conduct scope analysis, site surveys, and review customer specifications and RFQs.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals, including BOMs, system architecture, and compliance documents.
• Coordinate kick‑off meetings, purchase order reviews, and engineering change controls.
• Produce detailed engineering documents such as IOM loading, cable schedules, GA/IA drawings, heat and power calculations, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT plans, and application logic (FBD, SFC).
• Design panel room layouts, cable routing, and interconnection drawings for power, control, and signal circuits.
• Lead inspections, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities, and provide post‑project technical support.

Required profile

• 5 to 12 years of experience in detailed engineering, design, assembly and testing of Yokogawa DCS & ProSafe projects.
• Graduate degree in Engineering – Process Control Systems, Instrumentation or related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
