Tax & Legal Business Tax Manager (Senior) – Oman

About the role

Deloitte & Touche ME is seeking an experienced Tax & Legal Business Tax Manager to lead a team delivering comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services across the Middle East. You will work with a diverse client base, helping corporations navigate complex local and international tax regulations while optimizing their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding business needs and providing tailored tax solutions.
• Lead client meetings, present tax insights, and advise on strategic tax planning.
• Oversee preparation and review of complex corporate tax returns to ensure full compliance.
• Provide expert advice on a broad range of tax issues, including corporate, indirect, and cross‑border matters.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring high‑quality delivery and professional development.
• Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated consulting, finance, and legal solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering commercially sound tax strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
