About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering a seamless customer experience and smooth store operations. This role involves overseeing daily activities, managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring the store meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer‑focused initiatives, ensuring high service standards and achieving sales targets.
• Audit and improve store administration processes, implementing procedural changes as needed.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product presentation aligns with brand guidelines.
• Manage inventory control, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate replenishment.
• Create and manage staff schedules, address employee concerns, and provide performance feedback.
• Uphold security procedures, safeguarding stock and cash handling.
• Apply corrective actions and progressive discipline when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to motivate and guide a team.
• Ability to analyze sales data and KPIs to drive performance.
