Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Accountant to join our Finance team. You will manage day‑to‑day financial transactions, support VAT and corporate tax compliance, and assist with month‑ and year‑end closing while working closely with the Head of Finance and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Process payments, verify documentation, and ensure timely disbursements with proper authorisation.
• Reconcile bank statements, customer and vendor accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
• Provide auditors with required documents and maintain a clear audit trail.
• Update VAT declaration checklists and prepare quarterly VAT filings.
• Assist corporate tax preparation by categorising revenues and expenses.
• Prepare monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
