Airline Pilot – Full‑time (Hybrid)

About the role

SalamAir is seeking a full‑time Airline Pilot based in Muscat. The position combines on‑site flying duties with hybrid tasks that can be performed remotely, such as flight preparation and briefings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, weather and route analysis.
• Perform thorough aircraft inspections and operate the aircraft safely in all phases of flight.
• Collaborate with cabin crew and ground operations to ensure smooth flight execution.
• Manage in‑flight navigation, communication, and respond to routine and non‑routine situations.
• Complete post‑flight reports and participate in recurrent training and simulator sessions.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and excellent guest experience.

Required profile

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or equivalent.
• Type rating on SalamAir fleet or ability to obtain it.
• Current medical certificate meeting regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airline procedures, and flight operations.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High level of English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
