Warehouse Stock Controller - Supermarket

About the role

Apt Resources is seeking a Warehouse Stock Controller for a supermarket chain in Angola. The role involves managing incoming stock, maintaining accurate documentation, and keeping the stockroom organized.

Key responsibilities

• Count stock and produce inventory reports for warehouses
• Receive and inspect stock deliveries
• Check quantity and quality of incoming stock
• Handle documentation and maintain accurate records
• Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring proper labeling and storage
• Coordinate with the purchasing department for timely restocking
• Monitor and track inventory levels
• Collaborate with the sales team to resolve stock‑related issues
• Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Assist in other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Experience counting stock and making inventory reports for warehouses
• Experience working in supermarkets or hypermarkets
• Prior experience as a stock receptionist or similar role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
