Assembly, Maintenance and Overhaul Technician – Drilling Services

About the role

Baker Hughes, a global energy-technology company active in more than 120 countries, is looking for an AMO Technician (internal title: ARMO Tech - Assem IV) for its drilling services. The role is on-site and hands-on, involving assembly, maintenance, overhaul, testing and repair of electro-mechanical equipment and assemblies, working with manufacturing, engineering, quality and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble and disassemble electro-mechanical assemblies and equipment
• Perform visual inspections of components and assemblies to verify quality and compliance
• Support repair, rework and modification of non-conforming equipment
• Carry out complex diagnostic and testing activities with minimal supervision
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, parts lists and technical documentation
• Follow formal maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with HS&E policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance, testing and service records
• Coach and support other technicians in areas of demonstrated expertise

Required profile

• Minimum technical diploma
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance in drilling services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
