Construction Superintendent (Piping)

About the role

The Construction Superintendent (Piping) leads the planning, management, and supervision of all piping fabrication, installation, and completion activities for offshore topsides structures. The role ensures safe, efficient execution in line with project specifications, international standards, and approved construction requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce HSE policies, conduct Toolbox Talks, risk assessments, and site walkdowns.
• Plan and manage piping fabrication and erection according to the construction sequence and schedule.
• Supervise contractor and subcontractor activities for fabrication, mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning.
• Coordinate closely with engineering teams to resolve constructability issues and review deliverables for compliance.
• Monitor progress, quality, and productivity; report issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper preservation of materials, compliance with codes and standards, and delivery of a complete construction dossier.
• Share lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising piping fabrication and installation on offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of international piping codes, standards, and construction specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and subcontractors and resolve technical issues.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and commitment to HSE compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring progress and reporting to site management.
