Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

KPMG Oman is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of corporate tax engagements. This senior client‑facing role involves delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to both local and international clients while supporting the firm’s growth in Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and review complex corporate tax compliance and advisory engagements.
• Provide strategic tax planning and structuring advice on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and cross‑border transactions.
• Act as primary contact for senior client stakeholders and tax authorities, handling high‑level discussions and audit defence.
• Review and sign off technical deliverables such as tax reports, memos and advisory documentation.
• Monitor and advise on regulatory changes in Oman and globally (e.g., OECD, BEPS).
• Ensure service delivery aligns with KPMG’s risk management and compliance standards.
• Supervise, mentor and develop Assistant Managers and junior staff.
• Contribute to thought leadership, represent KPMG in professional forums and track market developments.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and participating in client pitches.
• Drive efficiency through technology and automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Mandatory professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CTA, ACA or equivalent).
• 8–10+ years of experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance.
