Credit Manager

About the role

The Credit Manager will lead the hotel’s credit function, ensuring that credit policies are applied consistently and that receivables are managed efficiently. This full‑time, on‑site role supports cash‑flow optimisation and loss prevention for the property in Masqat, Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enforce and monitor credit policies and procedures.
• Evaluate creditworthiness of corporate and individual customers.
• Approve or decline credit applications in line with company standards.
• Monitor accounts receivable, analyse aging reports and ensure timely collection of balances.
• Coordinate with front‑office, sales and finance teams to resolve billing issues and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare regular credit and risk reports and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate customer records and contribute to cash‑flow forecasting.

Required profile

• Strong background in credit management and credit risk, preferably within hospitality or a service‑oriented industry.
• Solid financial foundation with knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Advanced analytical abilities for reviewing financial data and assessing risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• High integrity, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts under tight deadlines.
