Senior Fund Manager – Private Markets & Real Assets

About the role

The Senior Fund Manager – Private Markets & Real Assets is a senior investment professional responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring and monitoring investments across private markets such as real estate, infrastructure, private credit and private equity. The role blends transaction execution with portfolio‑management discipline, supporting broader Asset Management initiatives while operating within approved mandates and delegated limits.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, screen and develop private‑market opportunities through relationships with sponsors, developers, asset managers and institutional counterparties, maintaining a disciplined pipeline aligned with strategy and risk appetite.
• Lead underwriting activities, including financial modelling, valuation, sensitivity analysis, commercial assessment and return attribution, and coordinate legal, tax, technical, operational and ESG due diligence.
• Support structuring of private‑market funds, co‑investments and separate accounts, reviewing financial terms, governance rights, fees and liquidity provisions.
• Prepare decision‑ready investment papers, manage transaction execution, and oversee portfolio monitoring against investment cases, valuations and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and maintain audit‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• Omani nationals only.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Real Estate or related field; MBA or MSc is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in asset management, private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, investment banking or corporate finance.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one private‑market discipline (deal sourcing, underwriting, structuring, execution or portfolio monitoring).
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, FRM, ACA/CPA are preferred.
• Professional fluency in English; Arabic and familiarity with Oman/GCC markets are advantageous.
