Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst

About the role

A company is looking for a Data Scientist / Data Visualization Analyst who turns complex data into insights that support strategic planning and business decisions. The role covers data collection, statistical analysis, predictive modelling, dashboard development and data visualization, working closely with departments to find trends, improve efficiency and give actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, clean and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
• Develop statistical, predictive and analytical models supporting business objectives
• Use exploratory data analysis to find trends, patterns and opportunities
• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and visualization tools
• Create visual presentations with Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and reporting
• Apply Python, R and other analytical tools to process data and run advanced analysis
• Set up and monitor KPIs to evaluate business performance
• Turn data findings into practical insights and recommendations
• Work with stakeholders on their data needs and ensure data accuracy, security and quality
• Improve data processing workflows and prepare analytical reports and presentations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related field
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling and quantitative research methods
• Ability to work with large datasets and communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Attention to detail, strong analytical thinking and teamwork and time-management skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL or other data analysis languages
• Data visualization and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker
• Machine learning, predictive analytics and data mining knowledge
• Familiarity with databases, data warehousing and ETL processes
