IT Support & Odoo Developer

About the role

A group of companies is looking for a technically skilled IT Support and Odoo Developer to manage its IT operations, develop and customize its Odoo ERP system, and implement AI tools and automation solutions. The role combines hands-on Odoo development, IT troubleshooting and the use of modern AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize and implement Odoo modules, write and modify Python code, XML views and PostgreSQL queries, and build custom modules, reports, dashboards, automated actions and workflows.
• Troubleshoot Odoo issues, integrate Odoo with third-party apps via APIs, and support Sales, CRM, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, HR and Project Management modules.
• Manage upgrades, configurations, user permissions and data migrations, and document changes and test them before deployment.
• Provide technical support for computers, software, networks, printers and other IT systems, and manage Microsoft 365, email accounts and user access.
• Maintain IT infrastructure, security, backups and network connectivity, coordinating with external IT providers when needed.
• Research and implement AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, automate workflows with n8n, Make or Power Automate, and help departments adopt new tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on Odoo development.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with the Odoo framework are mandatory.
• Experience developing custom Odoo modules, debugging and maintaining systems.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work independently and turn business requirements into technical solutions.

Required skills

• PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript and REST APIs; Odoo's ORM, models, views and workflows.
• Preferred: Odoo Community and Enterprise, Odoo Studio, Git, Linux servers, Odoo.sh, Power BI, WordPress and AI-powered workflow implementation.
