Electronic Technician – Cementing & Frac Equipment

About the role

The Electronic Technician for Cementing and Fracturing equipment ensures timely delivery and reliable operation of oilfield electronic assets. Working within the Maintenance Base, you will support field rigs and rig‑less sites, troubleshooting and maintaining critical equipment used in cementing and frac operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned cementing and frac electronic equipment according to the reliability‑centered maintenance program and CMMS records.
• Record materials, labor, and equipment performance in the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) system.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce non‑productive time, improve asset turnaround, and implement cost‑of‑service‑delivery projects.
• Investigate failures, support root‑cause analysis, and execute planned repairs and part reuse.
• Travel to field locations, including rigs, to provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience maintaining and troubleshooting electronic equipment used in cementing and fracturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance for oilfield service equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a field‑based operational environment.
