Freelance Planning Engineer – Primavera P6 & EOT Specialist

About the role

Muna Noor Engineering & Construction (MNEC) is looking for an experienced freelance Planning Engineer in Oman, working on a project basis. The consultant will review project schedules, assess delays and variation works, and prepare a revised schedule and EOT documentation, coordinating with the Client/Consultant until the revised completion date is approved.

Key responsibilities

• Review the approved baseline schedule, previously submitted EOT claims and additional variation works.
• Develop a fully integrated, logic-linked, man-hour-loaded revised schedule in Primavera P6.
• Carry out delay analysis, time impact assessments and critical path evaluations, identifying and substantiating delays.
• Prepare planning reports, revised schedules and supporting EOT documentation.
• Address Client/Consultant comments and revise where needed.
• Coordinate with stakeholders until the revised schedule and completion date are formally approved.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience in EOT preparation, delay analysis and time impact assessments.
• Ability to work independently and deliver the assignment within agreed deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling logic, resource loading and critical path methodology.
• Experience preparing and substantiating EOT claims for Client/Consultant approval.
