Internal Audit Manager – Muscat, Oman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Governance, Risk & Compliance to lead internal audit and risk advisory assignments for a top‑10 audit firm in Oman.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute internal audit and risk advisory projects across various industries and business processes.
• Conduct risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, corporate governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Identify control gaps, compliance risks and process inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review audit working papers, risk‑control matrices and audit reports to ensure quality and professional standards.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior management, and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage client relationships, mentor audit teams and ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Support partners in business development, proposal preparation and identifying additional advisory opportunities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably with a Big 7 firm.
• 3–5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in the GCC region is an advantage.
