Senior Manager – Investment Banking Advisory

About the role

The Senior Manager will act as a strategic advisor to corporate clients, designing financing strategies and raising capital through both public markets and private placements. The role covers debt and equity capital markets, syndicated financing, M&A advisory, and Islamic finance structures such as sukuk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture client relationships, providing tailored financial solutions and market insights.
• Lead execution of IPOs, private placements, syndications, restructurings, project finance and buy‑outs.
• Prepare pitch books, financial models, and transaction documentation, coordinating with legal and compliance teams.
• Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to shape business strategy.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets for the investment banking unit and present financial performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of banking/financial experience, including at least 5 years in investment banking covering DCM, ECM, syndications and advisory.
• Strong network with financial institutions, corporates and regulators in domestic and GCC markets.
• Proven track record of leading transactions and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using Bloomberg and Reuters platforms.
