IT Specialist

About the role

The IT Specialist ensures the hotel’s technology infrastructure runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently. You will provide technical support to all departments, maintain hardware and software, and keep guest‑facing services operational.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Maintain Windows operating systems, user accounts, and apply patches and updates.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Support hotel applications such as PMS, POS, time‑attendance, door‑lock, IPTV, telephone/PBX and finance/HR systems.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, manage antivirus/endpoint protection, and assist with backup and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Install and maintain hardware including computers, POS terminals, scanners, tablets and biometric devices.
• Assist guests with internet connectivity and meeting‑room AV equipment.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, service logs and software licensing records.

Required profile

• Proven experience providing technical support in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS administration and hardware configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with network infrastructure and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with hotel‑specific systems (PMS, POS, door‑lock, IPTV, PBX).
• Understanding of information security best practices and backup procedures.
