About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests in the swimming area, responding to emergencies and promoting a pleasant environment at the resort pool.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when needed.
- Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, and distressed guests.
- Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior lifeguard experience required.
- Ability to work full‑time shifts, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
Required skills
- Current CPR certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
